Letter Writing

Could you please revise my letter and correct my mistakes? (because I`m sure I made quite a few)

Dear Sir/Madam, I am a student from (country) and very interested to study fine arts at your academy. After doing some research, I´m writing you to request more information about the portfolio and the admission in general. Firstly, I wanted to ask if I need to apply for the remote admission (because I´m living outside (country)) eventhough I´m able to attend the admission day in person?Secondly, I have a question about the home assignment. If I pick two or more assignments, is there a required number of artworks per assignment I need to create? I am looking forward to receiving your response. Yours faithfully,XXX
