I am writing the following few lines to show my interest in your research field for attending the Mas/PhD studentship at University of New South Wales (UNSW).

I am Hien Nguyen, having already defended Master thesis in Sungkyunkwan University (SKKU), South Korea in August, 2016. Also, I have completed my MS course work with GPA 92.32/100.

Since graduation last year, I have been currently working in OneSystem Co. Ltd. as Executive Assistant.

In the beginning of my job in the company, I have been involved in management and updating profile of company clients. Because of my significant advantage of fluently multiple languages in communication, which I stayed and studied in South Korea for almost 2 years, I have been trusted for translating documents from Korean to be Vietnamese and English, such as product manuals, contracts, projects, etc.

After promotion in January this year, I am now working as Executive Assistant with my CEO, Kim Sung Ho, to make a report for researching and surveying the product market for company. Also, I have a chance to participate in weekly meeting with administration board to understand the policies as well as strategies of the company. Because of my current job, I am now working with the other departments such as Sales, Engineering and R&D Team to give the best products for our customers and technical development.

Dear [], business is the huge area, which has a lot of fields inside, and the Australia is one of the best economic countries in the world. So I have strongly desire to pursue business for my career future. Although I have a background in Engineering and I have completed my Master by Research in SKKU, I strongly believe that with my experience, which I have worked in the business. Furthermore with my highest responsibility showing in the achievement that I got in engineering field, can serve and help not only in your research field but also my career improvement.

Lastly, as the student, who wants to study more in business field, I decide to write this letter to ask whether you could offer foreigner like me to have opportunities receiving a “Master/PhD Scholarship Scheme 2017” in this year.
