Although more and more people read news on the internet, newspapers will remain the most important source of news. Do you agree or disagree?

In recent years, the internet has become extremely popular all around the world, and many people choose it as an alternative source of news instead of reading newspaper. Some people still believe that newspapers will remain its essential role in the future. In my opinion, I do not agree with this perspective.

On one hand, newspapers still play a vital role in sharing information and it is one of the most reliable source for information. In fact, there are many people keep the habit of reading newspapers everyday because not all of them could have access to the internet or they do not even know how to use internet, especially people in the countryside and the elderly. Furthermore, the reasons make newspapers become the most trusted source of information is that it is always required to go through a strict procedure to make sure about the reliability before being published. For some people, they choose newspapers instead of internet just because it is their personal preferences. They do not like reading news on a computer screen or on a mobile phone.

On the other hand, there are a variety of reasons that the internet will soon replace the newspaper to become the most important source of news. First, it is easier and more convenient for the users to have access to the internet. For example, they can read the news not only on a computer but also on a smartphone. Second, people could also share the news and have discussion with their family members or friends on the social networks, such as Facebook, Twitter or Instagram. Finally, reading news on internet could reduce the cost of printing newspapers and it might help alleviate some environmental problems in one way or another.

In conclusion, I believe that the internet will takeover newspaper to become the most important source of news in the future.
