Some people believe that hobbies need to be difficult to be enjoyable. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
The challenging hobbies that require a lot of specialized equipment and hours of training, such as skydiving, bungee jump and mountain climbing, have become increasingly popular in recent years. There is an argument that hobbies need to be difficult to be enjoyable. In my opinion, I totally disagree with this statement.
In fact, I do understand why these hobbies I mentioned above are so interesting to some people. This is because when people participate in these dangerous activities, it helps boosting the concentration of adrenaline in their blood which make them exciting. But this can not be applied to everyone and the number of people that get attracted to these activities is negligible. Moreover, the scientists and experts has indicated that there are also other hobbies, such as reading books and listening to music, could stimulate the release of dopamine and serotonin. The releasing of two chemical substances above also plays an important role in lifting up your mood.
In my opinion, I believe that for a variety of reasons, everyone has the right to choose the suitable hobbies for them. First, not everyone meets the physical requirement to do these difficult hobbies. Second, the purpose of hobbies is to make people relax and help relieve their stress and anxiety after a hard-working day. Therefore, any activities that satisfy these requirements can be considered as a hobby. Finally, it is much easier to do the simple hobbies because it does not require any tools or equipment. For example, you can feel relaxed by reading a book or listening to music anywhere.
In conclusion, I totally oppose to the statement that hobbies need to be challenging to be enjoyable because
