Could you please review my ielts writing task 2 essay

Families who send their children to private school should not be required to pay taxes that support the state education system. To what extend do you agree or disagree?

In recent years, the popularity of private schools has increased significantly. And there are more parents choose to let their children study at private schools instead of public schools. Some people argue that the government should not impose taxes on families having their children study in private schools. In my opinion, I completely agree with this statement.

In detail, we should take a look about the purpose of education taxes. The governments impose taxes on people sending their children to state schools so that the taxes could be utilized in operating the educational system and developing public schools. Therefore, it is nonsense to require parents whose children study at private schools to pay these taxes. I know that there might be some worries about the decline in taxes could negatively affects the public schools. And in the worst case, some public schools could not maintain properly and might be closed down. But it is a one-sided view and I totally disagree with it. I accept that the popularity and the number of students in private schools have increased lately. However, the number of students in private schools is negligible in comparison with that of state schools. Therefore, not imposing taxes on these families does not make any changes or affects to the operation of the public schools.

Furthermore, I believe that for a variety of reasons, we should not require taxes from parents whose children are in private school. Overall, private schools have some much more modern facilities than state schools. For example, it is impossible to apply the modern facilities, such as TV screen or AC, to all classrooms in state school. But in private schools, every classroom could be equipped with a projector or a huge interaction screen which makes the lesson more interesting. Therefore, the tuition fee of private schools is much larger than that of public schools. Requiring taxes from families who send their children to private schools could be a financial burden to them.

In conclusion, I totally agree with the idea that the governments should not impose taxes on families whose children study in private school.
