Essay & Composition Writing

Could you please help me with writing task 2. Thank you!

It is generally believed that the Internet is an excellent means of communication but some people suggest that it may not be the best place to find information.

Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.

Answer:

It is sometimes argued that the Internet is a valuable means of communication, while some people think that it is not the greatest source of information. Personally, I believe that the Internet is a priceless means of communication.

The reason why people believe that the Internet is not the best place to figure information out is that it might be awash with a great deal of junk science which is dangerous for a large number of people who may access the different websites and forums. People can face health problems if they trust in inaccuracy information about healthcare on the Internet. Therefore, Internet users should be concerned about the information quality on the Internet

There are several reasons to prove that the Internet is an excellent way to communicate. Firstly, the Internet has incredible power, connecting people all over the world. In fact, around 40% of the world population has an internet connection nowadays and the number of internet users has increased tenfold from 1999 to 2013. Secondly, the Internet is a smart commercial market in which people can do online shopping and selling. For instance, I can stay at home and buy whenever I want through online sales pages on Facebook instead of driving to the traditional market. Finally, the interactive learning that the Internet provides can help students and parents with little or no English skills to learn English. Parents can become more involved in their children's education by connecting the school with homes, libraries or other access ports.

In conclusion, although I recognize the ineffectiveness of the Internet, I still believe that the Internet is best means of communication.
