Could you please help me correct this for my book?
I've translated this and would need help making sure it's ok?
1 She's going to have a low/small salary this month as she was sick. 2 I was scared he'd see it. There was no point in her coming. 3 The nurse who took my blood test/simple was nice. 4 There are different things you need to know how to do in order to become professional. 5 I had heard the song before it played the radio. 6 The train pulled/was pulling in just as the other was pulling in. 7 This train goes through stop X without stopping at it. So either get off now or at the next stop. 8 Do you have so little work to do that you can spend your time on the computer at work? 9 The computer doesn't seem to work/be working. 10 When I started getting into the show, she was watching season 2 which is why I know what happens later in the show. You could consider changing "salary" to "pay check" (which I think is more the American English usage.
In NZ I'd simply say a "small pay" or "small pay packet".
