Could you please help me correct these sentences?
Could you please help me make these grammatical?
1 How did you know/realize you had lost your ticket?
2 As long as I'm in the line of work, i can't have a family.
3 Don't walk in his path (behind him), you'll get all his germs. (he sneezes and your behind him and get his germs.)
4 Your throat sounds bad. (tell someone who's coughing)
5 Does the train stop anywhere else but/other than here.
6 I don't speak Spanish in front of people. I don't want people judging my Spanish.
7 I got sick because of you./You made me sick.
8 This part of town is behind with their movie billboards. The movie posters up in this part of town have already come out. They need to put new movie posters up. (make sense?)
9 I can't wait to be on my way home/until I'm on my way home.
10 Are you up to speed with/on your morgage. (up to speed???)
11 Of all the people you could have asked, why me?
12 Can newspapers be either more democratic or republican? (make sense?)
