Could you please help me correct these sentences?

Could you please help me make these correct please?

1 Since/As X smells so bad you could smell your own X
2 I'm off more days a month than I'm on work. I work 10 days and I'm off 20 days a month.
3 I have such a big lead in the race that I could afford to crash a couple of times and still win. (race car game)
4 How much further behind me is the car in 2nd position?
5 My car without nitro goes faster than your with nitro.
6 I thought I started work at 8am/I was starting at 8am.
7 The car splashed me (with water) as it drove by.
8 I see her less and less now that she's got a girlfriend.

Note: You might want to reword it as: "Because x smells so bad you can smell your own." or
