Could you please help me correct these sentences?

Could you tell me if what I've written it bold is correct and if not how you would phrase the sentences?

1 This is the longest I've ever lived in the same apartment. OK
2 If you want to succeed in the business, you need to be a realist and know if what you have to offer is good. You can't be in denial. OK
3 What we hate is that you are turning into a vain person who none of us can stand to be around (you). If you want us to continue being friends, you're going to have to change. "YOU" should be left out
4 My headaches gotten worse and worse over the past hour. OK "and worse" optional
5 When you are so thirsty that you can drink it all, that's when.... OK

Thank you
