Could you please help me correct these 2 sentences?

1 You might have a hard time retaining the order in which to do the task. but you'll retain the procedure more and more as you go and the days go by.

2 Can you use both these sentences to mean the same thing?

Thank you

Hello Philip,

Can you please tell me one thing,

the last part in sentence 1

"and the days go by." is it correct to add that?

In 2

"to mean that" doesn't sound off to you, would it not be better to use "express"?

or reword it?

thank you so much
