Could you please have a look on my writing and correct it for me? "EDUCATION - UNPAID COMMUNITY SERVICE IN HIGHSCHOOL"

Some people believe that unpaid community service should be a compulsory part of high school programmes. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

There have been an increasing number og high schools organizing unpaid community service for their students. Some people are of the opinion that those kinds of activities should be included as a compulsory subjects at school. From my point of view, i wholeheartedly agree with that belief.

First of all, extra curriculums have great effect on building up soft skills for teenagers. Team working, time managing or task organizing are importants skills that students can gain by participating in voluntary work. They are all highly required for their future careers in addition to academic knowledge.

Furthermore, being involved in those meaningful activities helps students perform better at school. In term of psychology, remaining balance between in-class time and outdoor time is one of the most effective ways reducing pressure. As a result, students with healthy mind can obviously achive more success at school.

Finally, students can contribute to the society through those non-profit activities. For example, they can do good things for those who are less fortunate like the poor or the disabled. They teach them several lessons about morality and life. So that, teenagers will be more mature and become good person. Moreover, they can feel pround of themselves due to those things that they contribute.

To sum up, i believe that voluntary community service should be a core subject in high school curriculum and shoud be broaden as much as possible.
