LETTER :
Dear Mister XXX,
You are looking for mechanical engineers who want to work through Europe for major automotive concerns and I am really interested in such opportunity. I am currently working for an automotive supplier as CAD engineer and PDM coordinator and I see through your offer a way to use my know-how and my motivation in a new environment.
Over the last two years I worked on several projects, from products data management to products development, and I improved my knowledge in several disciplines as the ones you are looking for. I am fluent with some of the software programs used in the automotive and aerospace industries and I feel comfortable learning new ones. I also worked on an international project allowing me to travel to USA and Germany to attend meetings with people from operations from all over the world. I appreciated a lot this experience because that was really enriching, as much on the technical aspect than human one. In addition my technical university background based on mechanical and manufacturing engineering brought me a global overview of all technical processes used in the industry, notably thanks to the training periods spent in several companies.
Personally, I define myself as an open-minded person with a goal-orientated attitude and with an insatiable appetite to keep learning. I have always demonstrated commitment to excellence, through my academic career and through my previous working experience.
I have no doubt that my work in your organization would be a mutual beneficial and I would be very pleased to place my so far gained knowledge and skills at your disposal. Should you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact me. I look forward to your response.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
Sincerely,
