Could you please give me some examples

If someone asks me why I'm still at work working instead of being with my coworkers in a bar drinking after work, what would be natural to answer? Could you please give me some examples along the lines of:

I just had some paperwork that I wanted to finish up first.

I just feel better when I have finished up everything first.
