Could you please evaluate my answers for the below grammar questions?

1)
Man: Did you hear that when the Head of Finance offered Leslie a promotion, she refused?
Woman: Yes, if I were in her position, I ______________________ the job too.

(D) will have turned away

My Answer: D (Confused with C as well)

2)
The teacher asked the students ________ quiet.

(A) are
(B) to be
(C) being
(D) be

My Answer: B ( Confused with D as well)

3)
A: Can't you see that my client is in the clear on your illegitimate charges?
B: The account withdrawals are valid; ________, embezzlement is illicit.

(A) furthermore

(C) in retrospect
(D) notwithstanding

My Answer: B (Confused with A as well)

Note "if ... were". With that combination you can only have something with "would", so B and D are impossible.

You can turn off a light, an oven, a television, or a radio, but you can't turn off a job, so A is impossible.

Only C is possible.

The pattern is "ASK (someone) TO (do something)". Only B has "to", so only B can be correct.
