Could you please correct this sentence.

We were discussed about this report on last monday.
I will try to continue to give my level best on project.

I corrected the grammar, but I also changed a few things because they didn't sound natural. Those non-grammar changes were within this part: "I will try to continue to give my level best". For business, "I will try to continue" doesn't sound confident enough-
