Could you please confirm if I’ve properly used ‘even so’ and ‘then’? I think they're correctly used. Please correct me if I'm wrong. Thank you.

They are correctly used though, in my opinion, it's a bit literary. I'd replace "Even so" with "But" and drop ",then," altogether.
