Letter Writing

Could you please check out my cover letter.

Hello Ladies and Gents!

If I could impose so much as to ask a favor, I would greatly appreciate it if you could take a few minutes to offer some criticism on this cover letter.

----------

I would like to join xxxxx as your new xxxxx and bring to your organization my experience working on the UK’s largest fleet of car sharing vehicles for xxxxx.

My training at xxxxx helped me become a professional in the area of fleet maintenance and service management. During my involvement in the xxx<show production>xxx I focused my attention on scheduling of fleet resources to support the emergency services, movement of high profile people and technical aspects of production. This has been a once in a lifetime opportunities to gain skills and experiences that would be impossible to come by in almost any other organisation.

Most of my skill set is around xxxxx's service range and I feel especially well suited to step into this role and support your contract with the xxxxxx.
I would be happy to discuss these matters further with you at any time.

Enthusiastically / Sincerely,

--------

A massive thank you!

Usually, one includes a resume. If you do, you should mention it.

Such a letter is called a cover letter, because it covers (ie refers to) one or more attachments.

Sorry, but I'm not clear on your meaning. The first states your work in the new organization; the second states your work in the old organization.
