Essay & Composition Writing

Could you please check my writing Ielts task 1? Thank you very much.

The bar chart shows the scores of teams A, B, and C over four different seasons.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

Answer

The chart compares and contrasts the modifications made to the points earned by three different teams (A, B, and C) over 4-year periods from 2002 to 2005.

Overall, there was a fluctuation in the scores of all the teams during the period shown. Besides, Team B gained the highest points among those teams surveyed.

In 2002, the number of points earned by team B was 82 pts, which distanced itself from the other two groups to remain on top, whereas the scoring allocations for team A was only 5 pts. However, from 2002 to 2004, while Team B underwent a steady downturn in the number of scores, which remarkably decreased by nearly half to 43 pts, there was a growth in the points of team A, which noticeably increased by 30 pts to 35 pts in 2004. Meanwhile, Team C gained a stable amount of scores, which was between 10 to 15 pts over 2 years. In 2005, Team B witnessed a climb of the total points, which went up to 55 pts, in the meantime both team A and C that decreased to 8 pts and 5 pts respectively.
