Could you please check my grammar

Before doing anything the migration program will backup the current database under the ABDB-backup folder.
Should you have any problems with the merged database you can safely delete the whole content of AB-db and replace it by the one of the latest backup.

by the way, why is the first "back up" 2 separate words and the last is not anymore "backups".

Do they still have the same meaning?

'Backup' is the noun.
