Could you please check my English expression?

I've studied the following words today and made some sentences with them.

anxious, awful, consist, household, desire, eager, intent, landscape, lift, load, motion, pace, polite, rapidly, remark, seek, shine, spill

1. I was anxious about my little sister not coming home on time.
 2. The food I ate last night for dinner was very awful.
 3. The course consists of grammar, vocabulary, speaking and writing.
4. Our household consists of my mother, my father and my sister.
5. I desire lots of money and a true friend.
 6. I'm eager to visit Italy this winter.
7. I'm eager for a present from my friend on this christmas.
8. My intent this year is to travel a few countries.
9. I'm tired of him looking down on my intent to travel all around the world after quitting my job now. But I will keep my determination.
10. I like landscapes which have trees with snow on it.
11. Lift the pebble and throw it hard into the river.
12. I loaded some pretty shells into my bucket.
13. I loaded my bucket with some pretty shells.

15. He made motions to say something because his mouth was full of food.
16. You should walk at a slower pace so that your daughter walk with you.
17. She gave me a polite "thank you".

 19. The car is running very rapidly. It looks dangerous.
 20. My dad remarked I should transfer to another school because my school will be far apart from my home when we move to another city.
21. Anytime you can visit me if you seek someone's advice when you have a problem and need to get some help.
22. The candle is shining. The candle is making light only in this dark room.
23. I spilled your coffee! And the spilled coffee's made stain on the sofa! I tried to clean it up right away but it had already permeated.

domdom7. I'm eager for a present from my friend on this Christmas.
That doesn't sound natural me. I would say "eager to get a present"
domdom8. My intent this year is to travel to some new a few countries.
#9 is odd; "intent" doesn't fit in there.
