I am writing this letter to apply for an internship at NHQuang&Associates. When I stumbled upon your job posting on nhquang.com, I was very excited because the post said the opportunities to work and study at NHQuang&Associates were open to every student with an inquiring mind and a progressive outlook. As someone who does not have many prior experiences, this is a huge opportunity for me to finally get myself an internship at a professional law firm – a dream that many of us law student dream about.
After four years studying Law, I think getting in Hanoi Law University is the best decision I have ever made in my life and determine that I will go further on my legal career to become a lawyer. Among my classmates, I’m known as a student who always raises her hand to ask or answer questions, who frequently is a team leader and presenter. My English reading skill is quite good, I read in English almost every day and have no problem with understanding complex sentence structures in Law books. Also, I am a careful writer who takes my reasoning seriously and always pay attention to the grammar and the format of my writings, since I understand that as a professional, these mistakes are unacceptable.
At Law University, I focused my courses on the following areas: Tax Law, Investment Law, Company Law and Real Estate Law. With a three-month internship at a small foreign investment law firm, I was able to apply my knowledge and gain firsthand experience in these fields. During my internship at Hanoi Law firm, I learned how to prepare required paperwork to secure the accreditation and licensure of a foreign capitalized company in Vietnam, research laws and regulations related to FDI and liaise with authorities to carry out legal formalities.
Together, I hope that my educational background and internship experience makes me a suitable candidate for the intern position at your firm. I have attached my resume highlighting my academic and professional skills and look forward to hearing from you in due course. I appreciate your time and consideration.
