Could you please check if my sentences are written correctly? Thanks in advance:)

1. Taking tests can be a grueling experience.

2. Many people buy designer jeans because they fit better.

3. Before the car crashed through the barrier. (Do I need to cross out ''before'' here?)

4. The boy in the scuba is outfitted.

5. Kathy is swimming the English Channel.

6. Since his sister's word is the law. ( If I cross out since, does it make a sense?)

7. Paper clips are marvelous invention of the twentieth century.

8. The baby is depended on several medicines to fight recurrent infections.

9. Which is a difficult subject. ( I think I need to write any subject name instead of ''which''. Am I right?)

10. Jacques '' The King of Shoes'' for his ourstanding sales record.

11. Dashed through the store and out into the mall.

12. Smith is still deciding whether to go to law schol or not.

13. The movie star grinned and waved to the crowd.

I just meant it is OK without 'or not'.
