Could you please chck my covering letter for my work shadowing
ear Mr/Mrs
I am applying for work shadowing in Prima Donna to gain advanced experience in Dress making.
I am interested in doing my work shadowing in a boutique because I enjoy getting involved in somebody else's happiness. I choose this career after I went to my first work experience in year 11 in Love Couture Boutique. in Love Couture I learnt new skills such as customer service, sewing beads, ironing dresses, putting price lablel, cutting fabric and pattern paper lay out. I am influenced by Love Coture and want to lead my career in fashion.
I am attracted by Prima Dona so, I have choosen this boutique for my work shadowing because of the excellent reputation, focus on the client value and experts for making wedding dresses which will help me develop my skills and career. I have met one of the employers of Prima Donna for work shadowing and I am impressed with their friendly and positive behaivour with daily life.
I am a Kett Sixth Form Student arranging my work shadowing by my own because the sixth form do not arrange work shadowing for sixth form students. I am in Year 13 taking th subjects A level Applied Art and Design, AS Textiles and AS History. I have already recieved my AS results for Applied Art and I have gained a C but I have to submit another unit to gain a whole A level and a better grade. For my future plans, I want to go to do a fashion degree in London College of Fashion or De Montfort University in Leicester. After I have completed my degree I might like to open my own boutique or work with a bridal company.
