Could you pick my mistakes??

My friend John was one of students who had liked to annoy other students when he was an elementary student. However, he started to apologize to the friends who he annoyed after watching a movie which helps children realize in seriousness of school violence. After that, he could get along with many different friends and focus on his study better.

The only real mistake I see is "to the friends whom he annoyed."

Some will object to "John was one of students etc.", but it's not really incorrect --- just uncommon.
You could say, "was one of the students," or "was one of those students."

Some would prefer "focus better on his studies/studying."
