00 well, from what I remember from school, inverted commas should be used at the beginning and the end of a direct speech. yet the writer used one extra comma at the beginning of the paragraph in the article. still, it was still the same person speaking. 02 br
00 i'd like to ask, whether this is right. and why isn't the sentence at the end of a first paragraph finished with a in. comma aswell? 02 br
00 i found another article, where the same happeng. here's a little exctract: 02 br

00 .... A police spokesman said: "All three were found in the water. It's tragic. 02 br
00 " It would seem that a mother brought her two children into the water." 02 br
