Could you help, please

Hello,
Could you help me with the following sentences?
All all of them correct?

Mrs Brown has been assigned the task of giving special classes to children aged four to eight in numerous preschools in the region of Picardy.

Ms Brown is a very cheerful and open person, who quickly establishes contact with learners.

(is the word 'cheerful' ok in formal letters? Doesn't it sound a bit not serious?)
'establishes contact' - I mean 'gets on with students'

Mrs Brown's talent at teaching and ability to create a positive learning atmosphere are superior.

Thank you for your help!
Kind regards!
