Nowadays, there is an increasing number of people moving to another country. It is controversial that immigrants should adapt the customs and traditions of host country. To me, I completely agree they should do that.

My essay is following:

Foreigners who do not adopt the new customs and traditions will definitely face challenges when they come to other countries. First, they can find it hard to make new friends and broaden relationships. They can feel isolated because the local people will not show welcome to them if they are not aware of the local lifestyles. Second, they are likely to break the law of the host country because the law is based on the unique customs and traditions of each country. For example, in North Korean, we cannot take photos as freely as the rest of the world, so it is illegal to take pictures in banned places.

Foreigners who conform the local customs and traditions will take many opportunities in the new community. The first benefit is that it helps them to start up a new business if they are aware of the business practices of that country. Their business may be supported by the local community and become successful later. Another benefit is that they can enjoy the local culture by participating the practical life of the local people. For instance, they can feel like a part of the new residence during festivals or national holidays.

In conclusion, I would definitely argue that foreigners who want to move to a new country should be follow the customs and traditions of the local.
