Could you help me with a weather forecast script?

I have a problem with some of the weather forecast phrases from this video, could you help me verify them, please? Also, if you could have a look at the whole script to see if I got everything right, it'd be great. The forecast is British, but they seem to be using the hold on in phrase, which is American, so I am not sure about that phrase.

Hello, we have seen a band of rain through England, north to south, ahead of that, as you can fit (witness?) in this chart, you can see it in green and blue colours, that’s colder, clearer conditions, with temperatures only around 5 Celsius by day. Behind the weather front we have got a lot of cloud, and some much milder air, with temperatures on Monday up into double figures. Now, pressure is rising, we will get to see high pressure near the United Kingdom throughout this week , bringing a lot of settled, mainly dry weather, but a fair amount of cloud. So most areas hold on to the great pictures in into Tuesday, so damp weather across northern parts of Britain, but we will be keeping the clearer skies across South Eastern parts of Britain. So here we will be frosty by night, but we should see more sunshine by day. Then as the week progresses, it looks as if we’ll hold on to a lot of clouds, still the high pressure with us, hopefully it sinks??? some brighter breaks coming through. And then the winds begin to change, and by mid-week they’re stoking up from the South-West then they’ll be bringing a lot of cloud, but gradually they’ll pick a bit of an East leave for Friday so hopefully we’ll begin to see a little bit of brightness further West, but the picture overall really is quite settled.
