Could you help me understand this sentence?

Could you help me understand this sentence?

This is from a magazine:
"The price of goods would be slashed, international trade deficits reversed, ethically suspect supply chains rendered unnecessary and the environment spared untold amounts of degradation."

I think, "international trade deficits reversed" is the same as "international trade deficits would be reversed."
But I can't understand the rest of the sentence.
Could you write it without omission, please?

The words "would be" are omitted from all the subsequent clauses: The price of goods would be slashed international trade deficits would be reversed ethically suspect supply chains would be rendered unnecessary the environment would be spared untold amounts of degradation.

Tanks, GPY.

Yet, I can't understand this sentence:
"the environment would be spared untold amounts of degradation."
Could you please rephrase it for me, please?
0
a large amount of environmental degradation would be prevented
0
a very large amount of environmental damage would be prevented
0
the environment would be spared untold amounts of degradation
the environment would be saved from great amounts of damage

untold ~ not possible to say, or too large to be measured, so (roughly) 'great'
