could you help me to check the error in my thanks letter
I am writing a thanks letter to the interviewer to thanks for his meet. I am not a native speaker and the text below may include many errors.
So could you guys help me to find out those errors and make it better, I will be very grateful for your help.

I wanted to follow up on a few points from our discussion about why I want to join AAA.
1. AAAis the largest European software enterprise and my goal is to be a part of something big.
2. I have been considering which direction should I move forward in my career for a long time. And now I believe I found what I am really interested in and excel. The ERP and BI software which are developed by AAA use the technology to help companies to burst their profit, double the efficiency and avoid the risk. These make me exciting and I realize I can achieve success in these aspect with my qualification and experiences.
3. I like history and have a deep comprehension in asian culture, which helps me to fully understand the need of asian company and find better solutions. I believe it can be very useful for the future asian market.
Moreover, my current visa will only valid until 26th Nov, 2006. As my original plan, I will go back to XXX after that and my boss in YYY also offered me to work for him in XXX. But I perfer to work for AAA in DDD. So I need to decide soon. And could you inform me about the position as soon as possible, no matter what the result is.

Most of it looks fine, Anticraft; however, I must caution you about sending such follow-up letters: they are usually not appreciated by the interviewing company unless specifically requested to supply additional information. Here, you have not done so; you have just expressed your personal anxiety about the outcome of the interview. I recommend that you send nothing.

Most of it looks fine, Anticraft; however, I must caution you about sending such follow-up letters: they are usually not appreciated by the interviewing company unless specifically requested to supply additional information. Here, you have not done so; you have just expressed your personal anxiety about the outcome of the interview. I recommend that you send nothing.

But I read a lot of website said the thanks letter after interview is very important, it can result in whether you get the job or not.
And now I am confused......
