Could you help me out with the following sentence?
"From the discipline of political science I learned in my college years, especially on globalization, comparative politics, and IR theory, I had become interested in studying the changing political behavior of individuals around the globe in correspondence to various post-modern socio-political upheavals, such as the worldwidely increasing prevalence of issue-centered politics in contrast to the worldwidely diminishing fad of ideocracy or autocracy."
Can I learn a discpline as I wrote?
