Could you help me check out this essay?

The line graph illustrates how much goods which are transported from 1974 to 2002 by four various types of transport.

Looking the graph, it is immediately obvious that the proportion of the goods in UK is transported the most by road.

In 1974, the biggest amount of goods transported was about 70 million tones by road, while the lowest was about 5 million tones by pipeline . By rail and water were around 40 million tones and 39 million tones respectively. Between 1974 to 1992 transporting goods by road, water and pipeline experienced a steady increase, at about 81 million tones, 59 million tones and 16 million tones respectively, while the figure for rail reduce gradually around 35 million tones.

After 1992, the rate of goods transported by road, water and rail fell slightly, before peaking at around 99 million tones, 65 million tones and 41 million tones respectively in 2002. Transporting goods by pipeline continued to rise and stayed fairly unchanged from 1995 to 4002.
