Could you help me?

Could you tell me which one sounds right and natural between the following sentences?
Thank you.

1. It's much better for you to get up early and go to bed early.
2. It's much better to get up early and go to bed early.

Top answer

It's much better to go to bed early and get up early. If you add "you" it is directed at "you" - without you, it has a more general meaning for everybody/anyone to go to bed early.

  • It's much better to go to bed early and get up early.

You' is often used in informal language for 'people in general'. Both sentences are fine.
