Could you help me?

Hi.

I heard from "Avatar" these lines, "So, you just figured you'd come out here to the most hostile environment known to man, with no training of any kind and see how it went? What was going through your head?"

However, when I heard them, I felt like something strange and then 2 questions came to my mind.

1. Is the "see" a noun? (so to speak, the structure is "with no see how it went")

2. If so, how about "seeing" instead of "see"? What are the differences between them?

Please help me.

Thank you.
