Could you help me?

1. Could you tell me which one is correct in the following sentence?

(1) Few people enjoy prosperity of economic development in China, but most of the others suffered by the very development.

(2) Few people enjoy prosperity of economic development in China, but most of the others have suffered by the very development.

2. What it the difference among 'go over', 'check' and 'check it out' in details? Could you give me some example sentences to let me understand the correct usage of them?

I would use #2 with 'have suffered' [using from rather than by].

I think that the two clauses should be joined by and rather than by but. You might also change the first part to "enjoy any prosperity from economic...."

Go over and check can by synonyms meaning 'examine for correctness'. Check it out normally means to look at som
