Could you help me?

As of yet, there is no treatment for the disease.

In this sentence, is the 'as of yet' same with 'as yet'?

I found the sentence yesterday, but I couldn't find 'as of yet' in my dictionary but 'as yet'.

I hope you explain to me about it.

Thanks.
