Could you have a look at this?

Hi everyone!

"Although I used to study English, this is my first attempt to use these words. It seems easy, but maybe I will make some mistakes because these are rather new for me. Therefore, I'll do my best. In addition, I have to use comparatives and superlatives, but that's another homework."

I would make the following corrections to the above paragraph:

"Although I used to study English, this is my first attempt to use these words. It seems easy, but maybe I will make some mistakes because these are rather new for me. Therefore, I'll do my best. In addition, I have to use comparatives and superlatives, but that's another homework."

I'd say that "these" (marked in red in the sentence) has no clear referent, and therefore, should be expanded into "these terms" or something of the sort. As regards "for", I think that replacing it by "to" would sound much better. Anyhow, I can't seem to be able to make a clear difference between the uses of "for" and "to". Is "to" more frequently used for giving opinion? What about: "Passing the exam is impossible to / for me"?

The rest seems fine to me, what do you say?

Thanks a lot!

Mara.
