Could you give me some comments about my essay. I've just practised writing IELTS at home for one month.

People generally know that the environment is important. However, most individuals still do not take responsibility to protect the environment. Why is this? What should be done to encourage people to protect the environment?

Nowadays, people are received much information about problems of environment and understand the roles of environment by social media and others resources. However, most individuals are indifferent to their responsibility in order to protect environment. There are many reasons for these issues, so we need to have suitable ways to encourage people to have pragmatic actions to protect environment.

Most individuals decline responsibility for issues of environment because of following reasons. First of all, they think that is responsibility of people who live in the future. Next, they believe that protecting environment is a complicated problems so actions of an individual are not effective. Finally, there are some changes in their habits if they want to do something to protect environment and this make them feel uncomfortable such as using fabric bags instead of using plastic bags, classifying rubbish and so on.

Because of reasons above, we should have methods which help people feel happy when they act and change to protect environment. First, governments and nongovernmental organizations may hold programs or activities to direct ways that everyone can apply in daily life to restrict negative impacts on environment. Second, business should improve quality of green products and promote marketing so that consumers can approach these product easily. Finally, government should have environmental law to have detail punishment clauses which use for people break them.

In conclusion, although people understand the roles of environment, they still do not take responsibility to prevent pollution of environment. To solve these problems, we need more time, attempt and suitable solutions.
