Could you explain it?

And something that jumps out on that song for me, and I suppose the album in general, is the guitars. Especially in light of the more synthy stuff that was going on on Tonight: Franz Ferdinand, it feels like Alex and Nick have rediscovered their guitar muse in a way. Would you agree with that?

I don't understand the bold. I don't understand what 'I suppose the album in general' means and why it comes here for the structure. (Tonight: Franz Ferdinand is the title of an album)
