Could you do proofreading?

I tranlated two Japanese articles into English . Could you correct tjhem if they don't make sense to you.?

Unlike the Japanese who often do exchange of presents on various occasions, the English people seldom exchange gifts except on Christmas or on their birthdays. On the other hand, they often exchange cards.
Various things are sold at the card section in the stores. Also, the English people always have several kinds of cards at their home.

on this article.

Most English people living in the urban area want to spend relaxing time in the beautiful countryside by walking dogs or reading books for their old age.
They look very young for their age because they think their retirement as their best days on their life and they think positively that they get free time in which they can do whatever they want.

(NOTICE) We are supposed to use the following expressions.... for one's old age, think positively, and look young.
