Could you correct these exercise directions?

Hi teachers,
Could they be shorter?
Many of these sentences have errors. Cross out the wrong word each place you have a choice, and then write the right one on the line. Only one word can be changed. But first look at the example:

Affirmative sentence:
There are any vegetables in the kitchen.

What I said was -

Are there errors other than the places where you offer a choice? It sounds like it.

I don't see any choices offered. One word in bold is not a choice.

No there aren't. There are 12 sentences in total and only 3 of them are right. There's only one word that is wrong in each sentence.
Let me give you a few examples:
Negative sentence
There aren’t some books in this box.
