Song Writing & Lyrics

Could you correct, please.

Hello everybody. I have a Chinese friend. He speaks English fluently and confidently. After he has heard the song in my playlist, he asked me to translate it for him. Because I don't speak Chinese, he asked me to translate it into English. It is the old song about the youth dreaming about changes in their country. Could you correct, please.

Ice instead of warmth, smoke instead of fire, Another day of my life is torn out from the calendar's grid, The red sun is burning to ashes, the present day is burning out with it, Shade is falling down on the glowing city. Our hearts demand changes, Our eyes demand changes, Even in our laughter, even in our tears, even in pulsation of our veins, All the time we are waiting for changes. Electric light makes our days longer, And the box of matches is empty, Fortunatelly, there is a "blue flower" on the gas stove in the kitchen, Cigarettes in our hands, tea cups on the table - it is a very simple picture, There is nothing more, everything is inside us.
