Some people believe that it is wrong to keep animals in zoos, while others think that zoos are both entertaining and ecologically important.

Discuss both views

Animals play an essential role in the ecosystem, so protecting them has become a subject of increasing concern. Some people think that animals should be brought back to the forests, whereas others believe that keeping them in zoos is safe. This essay will discuss both views.

Some people think that zoos not only are entertainment places, but also can protect animals. Firstly, zoos attract attention of foreign tourists due to wild animals. Furthermore, children can gain more real knowledge instead of studying through books, and they will have interesting experiences in the zoos. Secondly, the zoo is one of the safest places that can preserver animals. Some animals who are at risk of extinction should be protected in areas which have security system such as zoos, national parks. In addition, in the zoo, habitats that a suitable to each animal are variety, and they are took care of skilled zoo keepers.

On the other hand, other people reject that government should not limit animals’moverments. Although keeping animals in zoos can help them prevent extreme weathers and predators, they will not have experiences in wildlife. In the forest, animals have to feed themselves, fight the enemies to gain their territories, so their ability of survival are greater compared to keeping them in zoos. In the otherwise, in zoos, the habitats are restricted, so animals will not grow normally and feel bored.

To sum up, animals should live in natural habitats to improve the ability of survival. Nevertheless, some animals who are becoming extinct have to be protected in zoos or preservation areas. Moreover, government should invest money in improving zoos and national parks to create wild habitats.
