Hi,
Could anybody check the paragraph below please?
"The production of ROS can be dangerous in itself and lead to oxidative stress when the production level of these radicals sharply increases for whatever reason or on the other hand their antioxidant capacity decreases. Numerous biochemical mechanisms in the body of living organisms are capable of producing free radicals, especially ROS (9). The process of energy production in the cell and especially the electron transport chain in the mitochondrial membrane are among the most important sources of free radical production in the cell. Other processes, such as the oxidation of catecholamines and the activation of the arachidonic acid cascade in the cell, are known as other sources of free radical production in the body."
Thanks!
