"80 patients with mild to moderate ulcerative colitis who referred to X hospital for 12 months, from 017/5/22 to 2018/5/22, and met the inclusion criteria entered the study. Inclusion criteria included: BMI above 18.5 and below 30, Diagnosis of mild to moderate ulcerative colitis by gastroenterologist, nonpregnancy and nonlactating, not taking supplements (antioxidant, omega-3, …) over the last three months (excluding routine supplements administered for ulcerative colitis), exclusion criteria were: no colon disease and manifest disorders, heart disease, cancer, rejection of supplements (acceptance below 80%), disease recurrence, migration, change of the type and dose of the medication during the intervention."
