Could you comment on the following please?

"In this type of surgery, an incision is made in the middle of the sternum and the sternum opens to provide adequate access to the heart and surrounding arteries. This procedure, like other surgical procedures, has several complications, with some patients having early and some having late complications. One of the problems after surgery is the post-sternotomy pain syndrome which usually lasts up to two months after surgery."
