Could you check this sentence?

Hi teachers,
Which one sounds better? In 'b 'sounds as if the table might be on the wall, doesn't it?
a) In the kitchen there are two cabinets on the wall and in the middle of the room a long table with two chairs.
b) In the kitchen there are two cabinets on the wall and a long table with two chairs.
