Could you check this please?

Hi,

Could you check the following please?

"Of the 30 stroke patients participating in the study, 15 were assigned to the intervention group (nine men and four women, ten ischemic and three hemorrhagic strokes, nine left and four right hemispheres, mean age of 54.9 years, the average period since the stroke 92.2 years) and 15 were assigned to the control group (seven men and five women, ten ischemic and two hemorrhagic strokes, seven left and five right hemispheres, mean age of 56.8 years, average period since the stroke 2.38 years). Five samples dropped out during the study, and the final analysis was performed on 25 people (13 in the intervention and 12 in the control group). In the intervention group, two individuals were excluded from the study due to illness or travel. In the control group, one individual was excluded due to hospitalization and two patients due to absence for more than two sessions and unwillingness to continue study treatment."

Thanks!

There are errors. There are confusing variations. This is a good case for exception to the rule of spelling out small numbers.

The numbers don't add up, but I left them that way because I don't know what the real numbers are or why they don't add up. I have to think that 92.2 years since the stroke is a typo for 9.22. The last sentence is confusing—did they refuse to continue or did they miss
