Hi,

Could you check the following? Which one is correct?

"The authors wish to thank all the student participants, their families, and school officials of the X District of Y for their enthusiastic and compassionate cooperation with the researchers."

OR

"... who enthusiastically and compassionately cooperated with the researchers.

compassionate is not a suitable word here. Broadly speaking, it means they were kind because they pitied the researchers, they regretted that the researchers were having difficulties.. I suggest this.
